Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs Gets IP-Ready with Integrated Video Surveillance System

Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, a 300,000 sq. ft., 24-hour gaming complex with 2,500 slot machines, faced stringent Pennsylvania gaming regulations requiring cameras to zoom in on and record every gaming device while simplifying operations across a sprawling facility. The casino engaged integrator North American Video and chose Honeywell solutions — including MAXPRO-Net, ACUIX™ PTZ domes, enterprise NVRs and IDM — to create an IP-ready, centralized surveillance and data-management platform that would protect current investments and allow future expansion.

Honeywell implemented an integrated system that ties analog and IP video into a single display, links slot and cash-handling data to video with IDM, and provides controlled access to live and recorded feeds from 12 workstations. The deployment met regulatory requirements, enabled reuse of existing equipment for cost savings, improved proactive asset protection and operational oversight, and created a scalable, future-ready security architecture that even drew interest from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
