Yichun Luming Mining Company, China’s largest molybdenum mine with a 25,000‑ton annual capacity, faced frequent startups and shutdowns that drove up power and maintenance costs, worsened product quality and reduced production. To centralize monitoring and optimize key processes like grinding‑flotation and dosing, the company selected Honeywell’s PlantCruise distributed control solution to modernize automation and speed commissioning.
