Marflex Improves Production Quality and Yield with Honeywell MXProLine

Marflex, a stretch‑film manufacturer in Karczew, Poland and part of the M.J. Maillis Group, needed to deliver higher‑quality film on a newly installed high‑speed line while minimizing raw material use. To meet this challenge they selected Honeywell and its MXProLine quality control system—building on two previous successful MXProLine installations—to ensure consistent thickness and film properties for downstream processors.

Honeywell implemented MXProLine cross‑direction and machine‑direction control across Marflex’s lines, and Marflex subsequently ordered a third MXProLine for the new machine. The systems cut profile variation to better than one‑third of the best manual profile, improved film tensile strength, reduced resin usage and waste, eliminated downstream rejects, sped start‑ups, and delivered a short, measurable return on investment—backed by Honeywell’s local installation and support.
