A Honeywell Case Study
Auckland War Memorial Museum, which welcomes more than 900,000 visitors a year, set out to become a 24/7 global digital museum while improving visitor comfort, lowering operating costs, speeding issue detection and maintaining optimal temperatures for its priceless Maori and Pacific artefacts. To achieve these aims the museum engaged Honeywell and extended its integrated building management with Honeywell Connected Services, including Digitized Maintenance and the Pulse Mobile App.
Honeywell’s Connected Services delivered real‑time data, analytics, performance dashboards and app‑based workflows that increased transparency across building performance and service maintenance. The solution enabled consistent comfort‑zone temperature control to protect artefacts, faster identification and rectification of faults via automated workflows and mobile collaboration, and replaced paper‑based processes—positioning the Auckland War Memorial Museum to support goals such as a 55% increase in onsite visitation by 2032, energy reduction, improved visitor flow and extended equipment lifecycle.
