To modernize its “ready for hire” program and give customers instant confidence in equipment compliance, Kennards Hire worked with Honeywell Scanning & Mobility (and partner Skywire) using Honeywell’s rugged industrial barcode printers to link physical assets to digital records.

Honeywell delivered a QR‑label printing solution (decked out with the Honeywell PF‑series rugged printers) integrated with Kennards Hire’s Baseplan Enterprise portal so customers can scan labels with a phone to view service history, safety records, manuals and training. The Honeywell solution prints more than 4,500 tags daily across the network and supports over 2,700 portal hits per month, cutting paperwork, speeding jobs, improving safety and equipment reliability, and helping Kennards Hire win large commercial contracts.
