Lufthansa Technik, a global leader in aircraft maintenance, faced a labor‑intensive, checklist‑driven APU inspection process that required two technicians to read, call out and manually record results to meet compliance and safety standards. To improve productivity, working conditions and employee satisfaction, Lufthansa Technik selected the Honeywell Vocollect Voice Solution for Maintenance and Inspection (including Vocollect SRX2 wireless headsets, A730 mobile devices and VoiceConsole software).

Honeywell implemented the voice‑guided system, mapping more than 1,000 APU test points so a single technician can be directed, respond by voice and have answers automatically captured and stored.
