Honeywell Video Technology Helps Protect Largest PrivatelyFunded Construction Project in U.S. History

The Largest Privately Funded Construction Company developed the massive CityCenter complex, including the ARIA resort and casino, and faced the challenge of securing an 18‑million sq. ft. facility with dark casino floors, extensive parking and retail areas, and the need to link video to transaction data. To address these requirements they selected Honeywell, deploying MAXPRO® VMS, IDM (Integrated Data Manager) and Honeywell HD3MDIP and 360° IP cameras to provide integrated IP/analog surveillance and low‑light identification.

Honeywell implemented a networked MAXPRO VMS and IDM solution that ties point‑of‑sale and slot data to video, uses HD3MDIP and 360° cameras to improve image quality and reduce camera counts, and streamlines hardware and labor via IP networking. The result: faster video retrieval and real‑time forensic capability — staff tracked and helped apprehend a vandal, replaced two cameras with one for table monitoring, and achieved demonstrable improvements in identification, investigation speed and operational efficiency delivered by Honeywell.
