Honeywell Partnership Supports CIAC's Market Expansion

CIAC (Corporación de la Industria Aeronáutica Colombiana), a leading Colombian aerospace MRO that supports military and civil fleets, needed manufacturer-certified repair capability, ready access to spare parts and technical expertise to keep PT6, RR250 and other engines flight‑ready and to expand into new markets. To address those challenges CIAC partnered with Honeywell and became the first Honeywell Authorized Warranty and Repair Station in Latin America for fuel control units (FCU) and governors on PT6 and RR250 engines.

Honeywell’s authorization and channel‑partner support gave CIAC immediate access to certified spare parts, technical experts and tailored training, enabling manufacturer‑certified repairs and faster turnarounds. As a result, CIAC can support a large number of engines used by the Colombian Air Force and National Police, increase aircraft availability for vital missions, build customer trust and pursue growth in civil and international MRO markets — outcomes directly enabled by Honeywell’s program.
