Chronopost, France’s express delivery specialist and a subsidiary of GeoPost, faced growing customer expectations for real-time parcel traceability and faster delivery confirmations. To modernize its field operations and meet those needs, Chronopost selected Honeywell Scanning & Mobility’s Dolphin 9500 mobile computers (Adaptus® Imaging, Wi‑Fi and GPRS/EDGE) to replace older terminals and provide reliable data capture on delivery rounds.

Honeywell’s Dolphin 9500 units were rolled out to 4,500 agent terminals (with integrator CEMI handling deployment and support), enabling deliveries to be confirmed in less than ten minutes, reducing tracing calls to the call center and helping Chronopost achieve a 96% on-time delivery rate—measurable improvements in customer visibility and operational efficiency attributed to Honeywell’s solution.
