Muscle Maker Grill, a U.S. healthy fast-food chain, needed faster, more reliable checkout scanning and a replacement for its paper punch loyalty cards to support a new smartphone-based digital loyalty program. The company engaged Honeywell (through a value-added reseller) to address scanning challenges and enable mobile coupon and loyalty redemption using Honeywell hardware and software.

Honeywell deployed 200 scanners — the Orbit™ 7120 hands-free omnidirectional scanner and the Genesis™ 7580g 2D area-imager — paired with reseller software to launch the digital loyalty program. The Honeywell solution sped checkouts, reduced customer wait times, improved cashier accuracy, enabled reliable mobile coupon/loyalty scanning, and provided actionable customer insights that helped boost sales and customer satisfaction.
