Gateway Health Plan, a top-ranked managed-care organization serving more than 300,000 members, needed to replace cumbersome laptops and outdated BlackBerrys with Apple iPad tablets but lacked the internal staff to manage a large technology rollout. The company engaged Honeywell to help with the platform transition and device management, including iPad provisioning and mobile device management.

Honeywell delivered an end-to-end Managed Mobility Services solution—handling provisioning, staging, deployment, 24x7 end-user hardware/connectivity/application support, device replacement and repair, and MDM-as-a-service by selecting and administering MobileIron. As a result, Honeywell enabled rapid device deployment and quick distribution to new hires, secured devices to corporate specifications, and triaged and resolved thousands of helpdesk tickets and device replacements.
