A Honeywell Case Study
Fox Head, the company behind the Fox Racing motocross apparel brand, was struggling to keep pace with rapid growth across e‑commerce, retail and international channels. The distribution operation was burdened by paper-based picking, unreliable RF handhelds, rising hardware costs and inconsistent accuracy, so Fox Head selected Honeywell’s Vocollect voice solutions (SR-20/SRX headsets and T5/A500 mobile devices) to boost productivity, accuracy and scalability.
Honeywell implemented Vocollect voice across picking, replenishment, cycle‑counting, slotting, receiving and packing, enabling hands‑free work, interleaved tasks and dynamic slotting. The change delivered dramatic results: picking productivity improved ~50%, overall daily productivity rose 35%, accuracy climbed from 82% to 99.99%, training was cut to about 1.5 hours, order selectors fell from 35 to 18 (cycle‑counters 4 to 1), lines per hour moved from ~25–27 to 35, and Fox Head achieved ROI in six months.
