The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) race pilot Joe Coraggio needed a modern, lightweight integrated flight deck to compete safely and faster in the Reno Air Races. Honeywell’s BendixKing solution replaced the old panel and delivered a 40‑pound weight savings, a 10.1" 4K xVue Touch display with onboard ADS‑B weather/traffic, and built‑in Wi‑Fi for rapid data upload and software updates. Those improvements produced better handling, quicker decision-making on course, and measurable speed gains along the race route—giving Joe Coraggio the competitive edge he sought.
