Evolving Security Integration Helps Manitoba Lotteries Corporation Thrive

Manitoba Lotteries Corporation (MLC), which operates two casinos plus corporate offices and satellite warehouses, faced an aging analog VCR-based security environment spread across multiple sites and needed a scalable, standardized, enterprise-wide surveillance platform to support growth and varied security requirements. To modernize and centralize monitoring, MLC partnered with Honeywell to move from disparate analog recording to an integrated digital solution.

Honeywell implemented its Enterprise NVR system along with IDM (Integrated Data Manager), VideoBloX matrix, people-counting analytics and integrated access/intrusion interfaces, tying cameras to POS and slot data for synchronized video and transactional analysis. The deployment delivered higher-quality recordings, instant access to synchronized audio/video, real-time exception reports and enterprise-wide visibility—surveillance reviews are now about three times faster, helping MLC curb theft, improve incident response and increase operational efficiency.
