DU-875 LCD Displays Deliver Better Pilot Experience for Jet-Care

Spectro Jet-Care, a provider of laboratory analysis services that operates a Lear 40XR for travel between its U.S., U.K. and Switzerland labs, faced aging cockpit displays (DU-870 CRTs) that reduced brightness, contrast and clarity and caused pilot eye fatigue. To address this, they worked with Honeywell to replace the obsolete CRTs with Honeywell DU-875 LCD displays.

Honeywell installed the DU-875 LCDs as a form/fit upgrade, delivering noticeably better day and night visibility, improved brightness and contrast, and a more comfortable, less tiring pilot experience. The Honeywell solution is also more reliable and significantly lighter than the original CRTs, giving Spectro Jet-Care a modern, compatible upgrade that enhanced operational comfort and aircraft equipment longevity.
