City of Turlock Manages Growing Infrastructure with Honeywell’s Sustainable Access Control and Surveillance

City of Turlock, a rapidly growing California city with nearly 70,000 residents and new facilities including a 55,000-square-foot police department, needed to modernize its aging access control and city-wide surveillance. The city had long used Honeywell’s WIN-PAK and analog cameras but required a scalable, budget‑sensitive upgrade to support larger buildings, more employees and higher-quality IP surveillance—so Turlock engaged integrator Microbiz and retained Honeywell solutions for the refresh.

Microbiz implemented an integrated Honeywell solution—upgrading WIN-PAK to Pro‑Watch Corporate Edition and adding MAXPRO VMS, VISTA intrusion alarms, ACUIX PTZ cameras, encoders and MAXPRO NVRs to bridge analog and IP systems. The deployment (now supporting more than 80 card readers and HID iClass readers) centralized the 911 center, provides immediate visual confirmation for faster, more accurate responses, enables instant lockdowns, improves HR privacy and reporting, and gives the City of Turlock a scalable, future‑proof security platform from Honeywell.
