Caja de ande relies on honeywell to Protect people and property

Caja de ANDE, a Costa Rican financial services provider with headquarters in San José and 12 rural branch offices, faced rising criminal activity as it expanded nationwide. The institution needed an easy-to-manage, integrated electronic security solution—covering intrusion alarms, access control, video surveillance, fire protection and public address—and turned to SPC | TELECENTINEL to design a system built around Honeywell’s connected buildings technology, including Pro‑Watch® and MAXPRO® solutions.

SPC | TELECENTINEL implemented a 100% IP platform using Honeywell products—Vista® intrusion panels, PW‑6000 access control, Honeywell IP cameras, NOTIFIER fire panels, Pro‑Watch® security management and MAXPRO® VMS—integrated via the Honeywell SDK. The Honeywell solution centralized monitoring and incident response, improved operator effectiveness, allowed precise tracking of entrances/exits to deter intruders, and produced sharable video evidence that has helped municipal authorities prosecute cases, while enabling easy onboarding of new branches.
