Burris Logistics, a fifth-generation cold-storage 3PL operating 15 refrigerated/frozen warehouses, needed to boost picking accuracy and productivity, cut training and operating costs, and maintain high customer service in challenging freezer environments. To meet these goals they partnered with Vocollect by Honeywell, deploying Vocollect Voice technology with Talkman® T2 mobile computers and Vocollect SR/SRX headsets integrated into their legacy WMS.

Honeywell’s Vocollect Voice solution delivered hands‑free order selection, real‑time performance tracking and ELS support, improving accuracy from 99.6% to 99.97% and raising productivity by 15–25%. The deployment (used by nearly 200 workers across six DCs) eliminated labels and paper—saving $250,000 annually at one site—cut training time significantly, achieved payback in under 10 months, and improved safety, inventory visibility and customer satisfaction.
