Bossard North America Chooses Honeywell Forklift Printer

Bossard North America, part of the global Bossard Group, was struggling at its Cedar Falls, Iowa warehouse when aging mobile printers began failing under high-volume order picking. Inherited devices wore out quickly and required a three-month repair turnaround, causing downtime on forklifts and disrupting label printing for pickers. To resolve this, Bossard evaluated new options and tested the Honeywell MP Compact Mobile printer.

Honeywell supplied demo units and a wireless MP Compact Mobile model that Bossard mounted on forklifts and integrated with their wireless network and Swiss print server. The Honeywell solution delivered rugged, high-volume printing with far fewer repairs, eliminated frequent IT interruptions, and kept workers productive; based on the results Bossard ordered 26 Honeywell MP Compact Mobile printers for the Cedar Falls facility.
