BendixKing KSN 770 delivers outstanding situational awareness and terrain mapping

BendixKing needed a feature-rich navigation upgrade to support pilots flying into challenging rural airfields for charitable missions. To provide better terrain awareness and precision approaches (LPV/WAAS), BendixKing selected Honeywell and the KSN 770 navigation system to address safety, situational-awareness and re-route workload challenges.

Honeywell implemented the KSN 770 with a large touchscreen, configurable split-screen terrain/navigation view, WAAS-enabled LPV approaches and autopilot compatibility. The solution delivered clearer displays, reduced cockpit workload during off‑route vectors and missed-approach diversions, avoided ancillary equipment replacements, and produced cost savings that essentially covered installation—improving safety and operational efficiency for BendixKing’s missions.
