Arcese, a leading European logistics provider with 56 companies and 500,000 m2 of warehouses, needed to improve service quality and productivity for its long-standing customer Ford Italy. Faced with paper-based picking, no real-time stock visibility and high error/return rates at its Castel San Pietro Terme PDC, Arcese evaluated voice-directed picking to reduce errors, speed operations and boost operational excellence using Honeywell’s Vocollect Voice solution.

Honeywell’s Vocollect Voice system (deployed by implementation partner KFI) — including 27 Vocollect Talkman A500 terminals, 44 SR-20 headsets and VoiceConsole management software — replaced manual processes and automated replenishment and packing-list association. As a result, Arcese achieved measurable improvements in accuracy and productivity, a reduction in returns and error rates, better workload management, and delivered an expected ROI within 12 months.
