Perry’s Ice Cream, an ice cream manufacturer and distributor in Akron, New York, needed a better way to manage contractor safety inductions and OSHA-compliant ammonia refrigeration training. Before working with Honeywell Forge Visitor and Contractor Management, using Sine Workflows, the team relied on paper forms, a front-desk secretary, and a manual quiz process that was slow, hard to track, and time-consuming.

Honeywell Forge Visitor and Contractor Management digitized the entire induction workflow so contractors could complete training, upload documents, and verify understanding before arriving on site. Perry’s has inducted more than 200 contractors this year, cutting training time to about 20 minutes and saving an estimated 224 hours and $5,800 in staffing costs over eight months, while also improving visitor accountability for emergency response.
