A Honeywell Forge Visitor and Contractor Management Case Study
City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters, a local government body of over 175 staff in Adelaide, was burdened by a paper-based sign-in system that slowed visitor processing, made identification difficult, and complicated accounting during evacuations amid hundreds of daily visitors. To modernize reception and depot check-ins, Honeywell Forge Visitor and Contractor Management deployed an all-in-one visitor kiosk in the Town Hall and tablet-based check-in stations at the service depot.
Honeywell Forge Visitor and Contractor Management’s solution added printed photo ID badges, SMS arrival alerts, and a real-time dashboard for remote monitoring. The council removed the oversized paper sign-in book, sped up visitor check-in and staff notifications, improved WHS induction and evacuation accounting, and streamlined operations for hundreds of visitors each day.
