Octapharma, the global healthcare company, needed to run its first employee survey in several years across multiple European countries and languages. As a multinational with many production workers who did not have corporate email access, it needed a flexible way to engage employees, leaders, and works councils while keeping the survey concise and culturally appropriate. Octapharma worked with Honestly and its employee survey platform plus consulting support to design the approach.
Honestly created a custom 40-question survey, tailored communications, and a mixed-media rollout that included email, mailed or hand-delivered individual links, FAQs, and explainer videos to reach all employees, including production staff. The survey achieved a 60% participation rate and produced actionable insights, including gaps in awareness of learning resources and the need for more employee-manager dialogue; based on the results, Octapharma launched improvement initiatives and renewed its contract with Honestly for yearly surveys.
