Kinetic Brands, a New York–based full‑stack beauty incubator, needed to equip senior managers and emerging leaders with the skills to navigate diversity at work—managing difficult conversations, spotting equity concerns, and building cultural competence beyond a rehearsed “copy‑and‑paste” approach. To meet this need, Kinetic Brands partnered with Hone and enrolled managers in Hone’s DEI Fundamentals program.

Hone delivered small‑group, instructor‑led DEI Fundamentals sessions with ongoing access to recordings and materials; since October 2021, 27 participants have completed the program, giving it a 4.8/5 overall rating, 100% agreement that sessions were a good use of time, and a +75 NPS (vs. the industry average of −8). The training boosted manager engagement, generated requests for additional learning, fostered a stronger sense of belonging, and prompted Kinetic Brands to expand the program beyond senior management.
