Building a brilliant brand at Aggreko

Aggreko, a global leader in power and temperature control rental, was undertaking a major business transformation to strengthen its internal culture. The company needed a powerful campaign to communicate its new purpose and values to a globally dispersed workforce, seeking to win hearts and minds and empower its people to act differently. They engaged the vendor Home for an employee brand and engagement campaign.

Home developed the "Always Orange" internal brand as an evolution of Aggreko's existing identity, built around the company's iconic orange equipment and the employees' own language. To ensure global reach, Home and Aggreko implemented a "train the trainer" model using "Orange Champions" to lead tailored local events. The launch was a significant success: 52 global events reached 2,172 employees on launch day, with 93% of all staff attending an event and feedback scores averaging 85% positive. Home helped embed the new values into the fabric of the company.
