Felder Group, a global leader in woodworking machinery, faced a challenge with the manual positioning of non-squared workpieces on their CNC machines. The solution from Hololight involved offloading rendering to a local server to stream complex, high-polygon CNC cutting paths and workpiece data in real-time to an AR headset. This provided operators with an intuitive, guided process for positioning, which drastically reduced errors and increased productivity. For Felder Group, Hololight's technology made it feasible to profitably produce custom, single-unit pieces with the efficiency of mass production.
