TotalView, an Alaska-based reality-capture company, needed a way to make industrial safety planning, training, and incident review easier to understand and more accessible for everyone from field teams to executives. The team wanted a solution that went beyond LiDAR or traditional 3D modeling, and instead used 360° imagery to create virtual walkthroughs of facilities and job sites. TotalView used HoloBuilder’s JobWalk app and platform to capture and organize site photos for immersive, web-based sharing.

With HoloBuilder, TotalView built virtual walkthroughs that include documents, SOPs, maintenance records, and safety notes directly in context, helping clients plan work, investigate incidents, and prepare contractors more effectively. The results were significant: photo capture and upload became 20 to 30 times faster, incident recreation could be completed in 1 to 2 days, and clients saved as much as 120,000 hours per year by reducing travel, rework, and communication errors. HoloBuilder also helped TotalView reduce risk for remote locations and improve access to safety information across organizations.
