Case Study: Kajima improves construction progress management with HoloBuilder

Kajima joined forces with HoloBuilder to improve documentation-related processes on their construction sites

Kajima Corporation, one of Japan’s largest general contractors, was looking to improve documentation-related processes on its construction sites. The company needed a more seamless way to increase visibility across teams and better track project progress, and it partnered with HoloBuilder to explore a 360° photo documentation and construction progress management solution.

HoloBuilder implemented its cloud-based “Street View for Construction” platform across pilot sites in Japan, allowing teams to capture, organize, and remotely review 360° site photos by location and time. After successful trials, Kajima expanded usage to more than 30 projects by February 2021, with two sites signing annual contracts early on; the rollout improved collaboration, strengthened internal awareness of innovation, and helped make project documentation more efficient.
