IPS-Integrated Project Services, LLC (IPS), a global consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, construction management, and CQV firm for the life sciences industry, faced an extreme challenge helping deliver fast-tracked COVID-19 vaccine facility renovations for one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. With multiple phases running concurrently, active COVID restrictions, operating clean rooms and GMP spaces, and limited site access, IPS needed a way to verify conditions and coordinate work without relying on frequent physical visits.

To solve this, IPS used HoloBuilder and its JobWalk App to capture and organize 360° site photos directly on drawings, often twice daily and sometimes three times per day. HoloBuilder gave the design and construction teams instant, contextual visibility, reduced the need for site visits and extra meetings, and helped them make faster decisions, verify as-built conditions, and manage design changes in real time. IPS estimated the workflow eliminated at least 13 site visits, saved about an hour per day per team member on the project, and could represent hundreds of thousands of dollars in avoided travel and labor costs.
