BAM Ireland Adopts Progress Management with 360° Photo Capture for Historic Boland’s Quay Development

BAM Ireland, a major contractor on the €164 million Boland’s Quay development in Dublin, needed a better way to manage progress documentation, QA/QC records, client handover files, and remote collaboration on a complex, high-profile project. To replace its traditional 2D photo process and improve visibility across the site, BAM Ireland adopted HoloBuilder’s 360° construction photo capture platform.

Using HoloBuilder, BAM Ireland was able to document progress more efficiently, support issue tracking and quality reviews, and simplify handover documentation within its Autodesk BIM 360 workflow. The results were significant: site photos could be captured up to 6x faster, photo retrieval improved by 5x, and a small crew could capture and share progress remotely during COVID-19 restrictions, helping reduce site visits while adding transparency and value across the project.
