Case Study: Cosapi achieves virtual site progress updates with HoloBuilder

360° virtual site visits support weekly updates for 2019 Pan-American and Parapan American Games infrastructure project

COSAPI, one of Peru’s largest engineering and construction companies, needed a better way to keep more than 100 professionals, managers, stakeholders, suppliers, and subcontractors aligned on a fast-moving $130M+ infrastructure project for the 2019 Pan-American and Parapan American Games. Traditional weekly reporting was not enough to keep everyone informed about progress when many decision-makers could not regularly visit the site.

COSAPI implemented HoloBuilder’s 360° photo capture solution and integrated it with its internal Card project management system to add visual context to daily reporting of planned, completed, and incomplete work alongside BIM models. With HoloBuilder, management could virtually visit the site, quickly review progress, and make faster decisions or flag concerns, improving communication across the project team.
