Case Study: COSAPI improves construction progress updates with HoloBuilder

360° virtual site visits support weekly updates for 2019 Pan-American and Parapan American Games infrastructure project

COSAPI, a large engineering and construction company in Peru, needed a better way to keep more than 100 team members, managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders aligned on a fast-moving $130M-plus infrastructure project for the 2019 Pan-American and Parapan American Games. Traditional weekly reporting was not enough for people who could not regularly visit the site, making it difficult to stay informed on progress and make timely decisions.

COSAPI implemented HoloBuilder and integrated it with its internal project management system, Card, to combine daily reporting and BIM models with 360° site images. With HoloBuilder’s virtual site visits, management could review progress remotely, make decisions faster, and flag issues sooner, effectively allowing the team to “be in the project but from the office.”
