Action for Humanity launches VR refugee experience with Holdens for 1% of the world’s displaced population

Holdens partnered with Action for Humanity, a global NGO, to address the challenge of raising awareness and shifting public perceptions about the global refugee crisis. The charity needed a powerful tool to communicate the complex realities faced by displaced people to drive donations and inspire policy change.

The solution was an immersive VR experience called 'Through My Eyes,' built by Holdens for Meta Quest headsets. It used a personal narrative and detailed animation to create an empathetic connection. The portable VR tool has been successfully deployed at universities, fundraisers, and international conferences, generating praise and publicity for Action for Humanity as they expand its use globally.
