Osprey designs new distribution center in 2 months with HOJ Innovations

Osprey, a world leader in backpacks and hydration products, faced significant logistical challenges due to its growth, including constraints from warehouse size, shipping routes, and delivery times from its Colorado headquarters. To better serve as a distribution hub, the company selected Ogden, Utah, and reached out to HOJ Innovations to provide the design engineering and data analysis required to validate the size and growth plans for a new distribution center.

HOJ Innovations worked collaboratively with Osprey over two months to design the new facility. The solution included Mecalux storage racking, Hytrol conveyors, Unicarrier forklifts, and other equipment supplied by HOJ. The result was a new, efficiently designed distribution center built to precise specifications, which allowed Osprey to move in and prepare for new product receipt within six months of the project's start, successfully addressing their logistical constraints.
