VF Corporation, a global apparel and footwear company, partnered with Hogan Assessments to improve its leader selection process. The company wanted a more effective way to identify leaders who could drive strategy, build strong teams, and support cross-functional collaboration.
Hogan Assessments worked with VF Corporation’s data science team to build a scientifically valid screening tool using the Hogan Personality Inventory, Hogan Development Survey, and Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory. The custom profile targeted key strengths, risks, and values linked to job success, helping VF Corporation select higher-performing leader candidates; leaders who fit the profile were 2.1 times more likely to be results- and people-oriented, and 58% of high-scoring leaders ranked in the top 20% of performers versus 36% of low-fit leaders.
