TruGreen, the nation’s largest lawn care company, wanted to improve leadership alignment, associate engagement, and cross-functional collaboration as it pursued growth and stronger customer loyalty. Working with Hogan Assessments and Princeton HR Insight LLC, the company used Hogan personality assessments and coaching to help its executive team understand how their leadership styles affected others and where their identity and reputation aligned or diverged.

Hogan Assessments helped TruGreen build a shared language for feedback, stress management, and development across the executive team and its top 200-plus associates. The company expanded the program into career development plans, group coaching, and companywide discussions of personality trends, which led to more robust manager-associate conversations and practical improvements such as development videos, adjusted work schedules, and new equipment. TruGreen reported better team effectiveness, more targeted investment in associate programs, and a stronger culture of intentional development.
