Hogan Assessments worked with a global independent energy company that wanted to improve how it selected top-level leaders and managers. The company needed a better way to predict leader performance and asked Hogan to create customized competency-based assessment reports.

Hogan Assessments built a personality-based competency report aligned to the company’s competency model using the Hogan Personality Inventory, Hogan Development Survey, and Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory. Hogan also used archival data to identify predictive facets and create customized algorithms that differentiated leaders and managers across three levels of fit. The reports were then used by hiring managers to select managerial candidates more effectively, with Hogan also providing training and coaching support.
