Southwest Energy Company, a rapidly growing energy company, needed help attracting and retaining employees while making sure its field-based workforce understood and used their benefits. Because employees were spread across remote rig sites with demanding schedules, the company turned to Hodges-Mace for help with employee benefits communication and enrollment support, including guidance on medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits.

Hodges-Mace delivered a one-to-one, on-site enrollment strategy with mobile Benefit Counselors, custom benefit guides and posters, flexible scheduling, and accurate data integration for payroll. The results were strong: 88% of eligible employees enrolled, 99% enrolled in medical, and voluntary benefit participation reached 68% for accident, 43% for critical illness, and 43% for permanent life. Survey feedback was also excellent, with 99% saying the counselor improved their understanding and 99.5% saying they better understood how to spend their benefit dollars wisely.
