SEFA, a growing company focused on industrial, manufacturing, and utility projects, needed in 2019 to replace manual jobsite timesheets and a home-grown SharePoint system in the home office. They wanted a user-friendly way for crews to record time while also giving project managers better visibility for planning, scheduling, timekeeping, and labor costing. HMS Software’s TimeControl timesheet software was selected to meet that need.

HMS Software implemented TimeControl Crew Timesheets so employees could track hours by project, task, per diem, and equipment usage, with daily or weekly entry depending on the setup. The system also sends actual hours to Project Server, supports exports in multiple formats, and is used on phones by some staff. SEFA reported that the software is easy to use, has streamlined many administrative processes, and that HMS Software’s support and implementation services were superb, helping the company adopt the system successfully and discover new uses for it.
