Koch Industries, a large petrochemical company, needed to replace multiple insecure, labor-intensive timekeeping systems in its IT organization and simplify an in-house billing process that required three full-time employees. HMS Software’s TimeControl timesheet software was selected because it offered the flexibility, ease of use, and web-based access Koch needed for future growth.

HMS Software implemented TimeControl as a combined timekeeping and billing solution, first in a pilot and then across Koch’s Wichita and Houston IT groups. The new system cut administrative effort by 100-fold, reduced billing administration time from eight days to two, improved reporting accuracy, and helped Koch recover its costs within the first year.
