Keppel FloaTEC, a Houston-based provider of engineering services and solutions for deep-water floating production systems, needed a reliable way to track labor across multiple projects and satisfy strict customer audit requirements. The company had been using HMS Software’s TimeControl timesheet software since 2006 to support accurate time keeping for project costing and customer invoicing.

HMS Software helped Keppel FloaTEC move from a web-based system to a cloud-based workflow, while keeping time entry and approvals accessible from anywhere. TimeControl also continued to feed labor data into SAP, and the company planned further customization for Workday integration. The result was 13 years of uninterrupted use, support for teams ranging from 25 to 200 people, and a system that consistently met audit and customer requirements.
