Hamon Deltak gets the flexible, efficient, full-service timesheet functionality it needs from HMS Software’s TimeControl Industrial

Hamon Deltak Inc. (HDI), a Minneapolis-based engineering firm specializing in heat recovery steam generators and waste heat boilers, needed to replace old, crash-prone in-house timekeeping software after reorganizing its IT staff. The company wanted a third-party timesheet system from HMS Software that could match its existing functionality, integrate with scheduling, payroll and financial systems, and support its unique 9/80 work schedule.

HMS Software implemented TimeControl Industrial, integrated with Oracle Primavera and JD Edwards, and configured it to handle HDI’s project, overhead, vacation and shop-floor time entry needs. The rollout went smoothly with minimal disruption, and HDI later expanded the system to let crew time be entered centrally for shop employees. The new setup gave workers real-time visibility into remaining project hours, improved error checking and reduced manual effort, making TimeControl critical software used across the company.
