How The University of Zurich Cultivates Brand Ambassadors

The University of Zurich, through its UZH Alumni network, faced fragmented alumni engagement with 25 associations and 27 chapters running separate sites and little alignment with the umbrella organization. Frustrated by limited features and an outdated system, UZH Alumni chose Hivebrite’s alumni engagement/community platform to centralize online spaces, better manage and support associations and chapters, and gain clearer insight into their collective impact.

Hivebrite implemented a fully branded, centralized community using its Group, Communications Campaigns, Events and Analytics modules (and interactive alumni map), allowing each chapter to operate independently while sharing events and content across the network. As a result, Hivebrite provided the University of Zurich greater visibility into chapter activities, extended global reach for events and content, more targeted, personalized communications, and measurable insights into which content and members drive engagement.
