The D2 Collective is a global, value-based membership community for technology professionals that partnered with Hivebrite to address growing disconnection among remote tech workers. Facing a need for vetted, high-quality interactions and easier ways to connect, collaborate, and find opportunities, The D2 Collective chose the Hivebrite community platform to create an online space with controlled member approval and paid memberships.

Using Hivebrite, The D2 Collective launched a feature-rich community—paid one-off memberships and ticketing processed through Hivebrite, recruiter memberships and an interactive jobs board, searchable member directory and map, event management, a media center for the Closer in Tech podcast, and segmented email/newsletters. The results speak to rapid adoption: more than 800 active members across 35+ countries in under four months, an average monthly membership growth rate of 23%, 10–15 events per month with 15–30 attendees each, and streamlined payments and engagement tools powered by Hivebrite.
