How Boost uses its community to create value before, during, and after its fellowship programme

The Sabin Vaccine Institute, a leading advocate for expanding vaccine access and uptake, partnered with Hivebrite to build Boost—a global community using Hivebrite’s platform—to help immunization professionals connect, learn, and advance their careers. Facing an oversaturated virtual-events environment, Sabin needed more distinctive, engaging course experiences to attract and retain attendees before, during, and after training.

To address this, Sabin (with WHO) ran a fellowship organized on Hivebrite’s platform: a public promo page, automatic registration into the Boost community and a dedicated fellowship group, Hivebrite’s Communication Module for invites/reminders, live Q&A and forum discussions, a resource center for recordings, and a mentor program. The results speak to the impact of Hivebrite: over 500 regular participants, 638 members in the fellowship group, a 16% increase in community membership, and an average 7% monthly rise in engagement—enabling sustained, scalable engagement for future courses.
