How Non-Profit Camp Kesem Made Team communication More Efficient With Hive

Camp Kesem, a national nonprofit that runs free summer camps for children affected by a parent’s cancer, struggled with a fully remote staff using dozens of independent Google Sheets for project plans, making it hard to see cross-project dependencies, monitor workload, and streamline project creation. They were looking for increased visibility, better cross-departmental communication, faster project setup, and a single place to track progress — and chose Hive’s all-in-one project management and messaging platform to address those needs.

Hive implemented projects and action cards with @mentions, native messaging to replace fragmented chats and email, plus forms, templates and Notes to standardize intake, onboarding and meeting follow-ups. As a result, Hive gave Camp Kesem a centralized hub for tracking tasks and data, reduced internal email volume, improved visibility into workstreams and workloads, and accelerated collaboration and project management across the remote team.
