Kemira, a global chemicals company with operations in 40 countries, needed a better way to deliver companywide video communication to its 4,800 employees. Existing town hall broadcasts were limited by low-quality streaming, central viewing locations, and poor reach to employees across the business. Hive Streaming was evaluated as a way to improve internal video delivery and support broader employee communication.

Kemira selected Hive Streaming for its efficient network use, software-based approach, detailed monitoring and reporting, and integrations with Microsoft Office 365, Skype Meeting Broadcast, and FLIK. The solution was designed to reach every Kemira desktop, improve video quality to over 1.5 mbps to most users, and reduce impact on user applications during broadcasts. Kemira also valued Hive Streaming Silent Testing, which let the team test readiness in the background without affecting users.
