AXA Germany, a major primary insurer, faced significant network challenges as their increasing use of Skype Meeting Broadcast for internal video communications was severely impacting their corporate network and application performance. They sought a software solution that could integrate with Microsoft Office 365, eliminate the strain on their network, and improve video quality for employees. They evaluated providers and ultimately selected Hive Streaming to address these issues.

The solution from Hive Streaming was deployed to over 12,000 devices, efficiently utilizing existing network resources through peer-assist delivery. This implementation allowed AXA to dramatically scale its live video events from a few per month to as many as thirty, with over 90% of viewers experiencing a good or excellent quality stream. Hive Streaming successfully offloaded nearly all video traffic from the WAN, removing the impact on business applications and enabling AXA to confidently expand its use of video communication globally.
