Sheffield Flourish launches a secure safety plan microsite in 2 weeks with Hive IT

Sheffield Flourish, a local mental health charity, partnered with Hive IT to create a digital safety plan tool. The challenge was to move beyond static, non-customizable paper plans and develop a secure, confidential, and user-friendly digital version for people experiencing suicidal thoughts, which could integrate with their existing Sheffield Suicide Support website.

Hive IT developed a dedicated mobile-first microsite using React, Next.js, and Auth0. The solution allows users to create, edit, share, and download personalized safety plans. Hive IT prioritized data security and privacy, ensuring the tool was quickly delivered to the Sheffield community. The result is an accessible platform that empowers individuals to manage their mental health and provides an essential resource for healthcare providers and support networks.
